Oggi una buona notizia per i Balcani e per noi. Da domani 19 Dicembre 2009, altre tre nazionalità, Serbi, Macedoni e Montenegrini, potranno entrare e uscire dai confini dell'Unione Europea più liberamente, senza visti, solo con il loro passaporto.
Un'altra frontiera che si dilata e che si smaglia un po'. Passi da fare ce ne sono ancora tanti. Quando arrivano notizie del genere si pensa sempre un po' agli esclusi, agli Ucraini, ai Turchi, a quelli che stanno ancora troppo a Est per noi e troppo a Ovest per gli altri. Quelli che stanno in mezzo.
Ma in ogni caso domani si celebra una buona notizia, e come dice l'associazione Lymec "La vita è troppo breve per un visto".
Al di là di vecchi rancori di chi è appena stato giovane, domani per molti nuovi giovani si oltrepassano nuovi confini. Vale la pena rileggere cosa diceva la nostra ospite serba, Maya, solo qualche mese fa.

How hard is to me to say people that they didn’t get visa, and that they can’t go, this time again, to visit their family. But what hurts more than that is to see how much people want to get visa- to run away from Serbia ;-(
I had luck to travel. I got a lot of scholarships as good student, so I was in almost all big Europian cities. The most of travelling was to Germany, organizing courses of German language for kids and teenagers. Or having some seminars, projects and so on. Travelling for me means not to escape from Serbia, but to meet people from different countries and to broaden my mind".

i know that there is no visa, cause i came exactly yesterday from bonn to serbia (vacation)! and me and my friends from serbia, who came one week before to visite me in germany, we just waited 2 minutes, showed our passports and passed (instead of waiting one or two hours as usual :(
for me is the same, if there is visa or not, cause i have now german visa for next two years, but i am very happy though, because serbian people can now see what is going out there in europe, and be more openminded...and also young people, students... and of course, cause my family and friend can visit me whenever they want yeeeeeeee :*)
